It’s all been quiet on the iPhone 5 & iPhone 6 front since the death of Steve Job’s but there are rumours circulating that the iPhone 5′s successor, the iPhone 6 will feature a curved screen. A lot of very trust worthy sources have suggested that this is very likely and that it’s one of the hottest and most likely rumours on the market yet.
Rumour has it that Apple recently contacted lens technology companies Fuji Crystal and G-Tech to supply them with the correct machinery to polish the curved glass. Apple have allegedly placed an order for 200-300 glass cutting machines which have a specialization of cutting curved screens.
If Apple do introduce a curved screen like suggested above, this could potentially make the iPhone 6 a much comfier and enjoyable phone to use. Another expert suggested that due to the screen being arched in the middle this would make the phone much more resilient to being scratched and cracked.
