Quite recently a highly legitimate source (Forbes) claimed that the iPhone 6 has been rumoured to feature a quad-core processor. The quad-core processor has an incredible amount of power behind it and would put the iPhone 6 in good position against future Android smartphones who are also looking at processor upgrades.
If the iPhone 6 were to use a quad-core processor it would open the door to an ample of new features. The phones speed would be greatly increased which in return would improve the phones multi-tasking features & audio/video playback. Hopefully these will open door’s to modifications on the iPhone 6′s graphics chip which would allow room for better gaming capabilities. This would certainly be a step in the right direction for apple.
With rumours already circulating that the future Android phones will feature quad core processors Apple will really have to bring their A game to stand a chance against future Android models.
